Thank you for your enquiry.  I will set out below our standard information on ear lobe reduction which I hope will be of assistance in the first instance.

Ear Lobe Reduction - one side only

Mr Gault is able to reduce the size of the ears at the upper poles, or at the lobes or both.

Ear lobe reduction surgery for one side only, which takes about 40 minutes, is normally performed under local anaesthetic as a walk-in, walk-out case. After surgery the lobe is covered with some flesh-coloured tape.  Sutures are removed at approximately seven days,  at which point the scars will look slightly red.  Treatment with Dermatix settles the redness more quickly.  There are no health implications or risks to hearing.

Mr Gault’s fee for reduction of ONE ear lobe is £995 including one follow-up appointment.  There is an additional fee of £220 for the local anaesthetic. The hospital’s fee depends on which one you choose, but in every case a local anaesthetic procedure is cheaper than a general anaesthetic one. The cheapest hospitals is currently £595. Although unusual, you could also have the surgery under general anaesthetic, in which case the anaesthetic fee is £295, and the hospital fee would rise to approximately £2363.

An example option for LA  is: £895 + £220 + £595 at the cheapest hospital.

Mr Gault’s fee for reduction of ONE ear lobe plus a change of attachment of the lobe is £1075  including one follow-up appointment.  There is an additional fee of £240 for the local anaesthetic. The hospital’s fee depends on which one you choose, but in every case a local anaesthetic procedure is cheaper than a general anaesthetic one.  Although unusual, you could also have the surgery under general anaesthetic, in which case the anaesthetic fee is £295, and the hospital fee would rise to approximately £2363.

An example option for LA  is: £1075 + £240 + £595 at the cheapest hospital.

Hospital fees do not include painkillers to take home, but you would be much better advised to buy these over-the-counter because Paracetamol from the hospital is extremely expensive.
