Laser treatment of verrucae and warts

David Gault
Admin 0 months ago

It is often possible to cure previously resistant and intractable verrucae with laser treatment.  Mr Gault uses a variety of lasers, such as the Carbon Dioxide laser which ablates the local tissues but seals the blood vessels so that the treated area heals quickly, or a Pulsed Dye laser which ablates the blood vessels which supply the virus-laden tissue.

For large, deep or long-standing lesions, it may be necessary to formally excise some initial tissue to minimise treatment time.

Surgical fees, including local anaesthetic, start from £675

The cheapest hospital fee, using the pulsed-dye laser, starts from around £360

Hospital fees for the CO2 laser start from around £1012.50
